I decided it was now or never and made myself get out in this awful,humid heat.I made my way over to my local feed store (Standish Farm Supply)and picked up 3 of my favorite deer blocks.Then it was off to a small hardware store to stock up on some new batteries.When I arrived at the farm I seen 8 deer before getting out of my truck.I grab everything I needed and went to my favorite mineral block site.After getting everything in position and some testing I finally screwed the cam down to the tree and got out of there.When I got back to my truck I was covered in ticks!I think this has to be the worst year for them.I wasn't in the woods no more than 10 minutes and had close to 100 ticks on me.There's probably still a few more hiding somewhere on me.Hopefully it will all be worth it with some nice trail cam pics.Hopefully I'll have some to post in a few days.Stay tuned.
